MOOV Yoga and Movement is looking for a highly motivated, confident, creative and inspiring Yoga and Movement Teachers.
MOOV Yoga & Movement Teachers are responsible for leading empowering and well-informed classes in-studio and online. The type of class may include, but is not limited to classical THE POWER FLOW, THE RESTORATION, THE YIN, THE BASE (Fusion) and will be assigned according to the teacher’s expertise and training. Teachers are expected to be able to utilize a variety of standard props and provide adjustments (verbal cues) to students while reinforcing MOOV core values and commitment to teaching to possibility.

WOOD | The Element of Spring
A healthy wood element personality is giving, generous and very adaptable to any situation.
•Upward rising energy and movement forward.
•The yang and the aliveness of growth & expansion the energy of the wood is alive and rebirths the vitality of nature around us and inside of us.
•Sprouts and warmer weather, longer days and accrued energy is felt in the air & environment.
•Get outside to see the green foliage and trees. It is very pacifying and therapeutic for the wood eement imbalance to take walks or movement in nature, right away soothes the nervous system as the green colour hits the eyes.
•Keep the body active and stretch the muscles, make a disciplined routine for it. For the wood, this discipline equals freedom.

EARTH | the Transition from Winter to Spring
Embracing the stillness between seasons.
Practice the rooting and the steadiness required to be able to transition smoothly between things, one season to the other, one posture to the other. Transitions are everywhere. Nature assists us in practicing.
Emotion, Vibe & Feel:
Replacing worry and anxiety with Courage. Setting deep roots and trusting Self.
Working harder is the past working smarter is the now, manage & hone your energy.

As we approach the Spring Equinox, what Fresh new energy and manifestations are you calling in?
EARTH is the centre, earth is the foundation, earth is you.
We are in an exciting 10 day cycle. Earth activates 10 days prior to the transition of winter to spring.
This week is a time for re-creating balance in your life, grounding and stabilizing.
One way to conceptualize earth is as the center, the fulcrum, the transition time and space between change from one phase to the next. It is the exact moment of balance between two phases.
Embrace this shift by moving your body daily. Rid excess dormant energy that may have accumulated over the winter.
Drink plenty of warm water in the morning with fresh lemon.
Notice what feels oppressive to you and make shifts that allow for greater space within.
Taking care of yourself is productive.
Sometimes weekends can feel like the time to get everything done. After a productive week at work, we have to have a productive weekend at home, and the productivity never stops.
Sleeping in is productive.
Self-massage is productive.
Calling a loved one is productive.
Self care Sunday kinda vibe.

Have you ever consciously sipped on your water? As we are in the season of water, we are in constant need of nourishing this element.
Try: A good meditative technique to try is to drink water consciously. Instead of unconsciously gulping it down, know that you can affect the water within you by bringing in water with life-enhancing intention in its molecular structure.
Think of the positive qualities of water as you drink.
Think of it as being charged with power and currents to heal. Feel the coolness washing away any impurities. Feel its liquidity accession even the densest reaches of bodily tissue. If you heat the water, imagine its warmth transforming phlegm and cleaning negative emotional states from your mind and body.
